Don't judge a book by it's cover, based on my wardrobe change you'll think I'm bipolar."
I'm constantly asked what my "personal style" is. That's like asking me, "Who are you?” What? I don't know. That's a lot of pressure. After years of trying to figure out my “personal style” I realized I don't have one. It changes everyday, every season, from one year to the next. I think of my wardrobe as a part of my personality and the character I am that day. Some mornings I wake up feeling more fierce than normal && I want sleek backed hair, leather leggings, a long tank and my favorite camel trench. Other days I wake up feeling fresh and free and the only way to portray that is with distressed denim and my hand embroidered shirt I got in Mexico with flowers embroidered around the neck. The persona of a "style" constricting me makes me sweat. I don't like boxes, certainly not in my closet. If I like it, I buy it and I’ll figure out a way to make it work with my wardrobe. I challenge all you #badbabes to do the same. Venture out of the norm and take a risk. If you love it, buy it! If it's your 7th black cardigan or 13th striped short sleeved dress, put it back on the rack and surprise yourself. Your closet will thank you!
